It is not my purpose to reduce this acknowledged controversy to a fantastic narrative of fiction, running with it the risk of turning the behavior of God into a trivial subject, because without a doubt, it is not. In this the best thing is to remain humble, but we must avoid being simplistic at all costs. Undoubtedly this is a difficult issue and the implications of it can be quite problematic, I do not intend to clarify everything. In fact, what I try to show is that the subject is quite obscure and that it is a mistake to try to clarify even the smallest of the details that this divine plot entails; because all the edges that the subject has should lead us to that healthy conclusion. We do not intend to unravel the mind of God, we intend to give an explanatory theory that is consistent with the Scriptures and with what is humanly observable about the behavior of God.
The will of God is essentially absolute, but many theologians say that it is not so; they say that God has, supposedly, a directive or decretive will and a permissive will.
According to them, all kinds of events fall within the field of their decretive will, which will not fail to happen under any circumstance, while in their permissive will occur facts that He simply lets go. Or in other words, it turns a blind eye. So, be it known that, initially, I do not like this concept that attributes to God being like the kitten of María Ramos who throws the stone and hides her hand.
But all the previous argument, it is worth clarifying, is a mere assumption, since God has told no such thing. All this theory is based on a series of deductions and assumptions often designed to help God; It helps that, without a doubt, he has not asked us, and that most of the time he causes more evils than benefits.
That does not mean that this assumption is necessarily, absolutely without value, only means that it should not be given to a supposition, the character of the thing irrevocably judged. In other words, the theorists of God, read the theologians, should be more careful when expressing their opinions on a certain biblical subject and make it clear that same, that what they are expressing is their opinion, because if something is true , is that theology is not the word of God, theology is what the theologians think about the word of God. However, theologians often speak in such absolute terms about their speculations about God and are cited by those who consume those speculations with such carelessness in the pulpits that the not very informed listener does not distinguish between what the word of God says and what theology affirms that the word of God wants to teach.
